Love Actually
“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there – fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge – they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.” – The Prime Minister (Hugh Grant), Love Actually
Dear Wolf…
I was on Googleimage of the “Night Sky” and came
across your site.
I just ~have~ to reply to your post of Dec 18th.
I can get so unbelievably depressed with the way
things are going on the world…I just start to hate mankind….hmmmm, man + kind, funny I used that….anyway, I get so far down I can hardly
believe there is any hope for us and then I, too,
watch that movie and it is my favorite part;
watching all that love actually happen, actually
be still alive and well in the world keeps me going and gives me hope that yes, we are still here, we are large in number and it is just the few that grab the headlines…………..
Nice meeting you >S<
